Outdoor living spaces give homeowners a place that their friends and families can relax and entertain. The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex has great summertime weather during the evenings, which can be taken advantage of with an outdoor living space. Even during the colder months, you can take a dip in your heated custom Desjoyaux concrete pool and relax next to an outdoor fireplace — making your space usable all year long.
Blooming Colors Nursery & Landscaping will also help you express your personality and tastes with the outdoor living spaces Dallas wants the same way you do inside of your house. Frequently Asked Questions
What outdoor living features does Blooming Colors design and build?
We design and build cedar arbors and pergolas, patios, walkways, outdoor kitchens and grills, outdoor fireplaces and fire pits, custom Desjoyaux concrete pools and pool remodels, all using Certified Belgard hardscape products. Our design and construction teams plan each space as an extension of your home, whether your backyard is small or several acres, for homes in Southlake, Colleyville, Westlake and across DFW.
What kind of pools does Blooming Colors build?
We design and build custom Desjoyaux concrete pools featuring pipeless salt water filtration and energy efficiency, backed by a 10-year warranty. Each pool is designed around your property and how your family uses it, and can be planned together with the surrounding patio, outdoor kitchen, pergola, fire feature, lighting and plantings so the whole backyard reads as one finished space, day or evening.
Can you remodel an existing pool?
Yes. Our pool remodels include replastering, new tile, new edge coping and patio resurfacing, using Certified Belgard hardscape products. A remodel is often the moment to rethink the space around the pool as well, so our designers can add shade structures, an outdoor kitchen, a fire feature, landscape lighting or new plantings to the same plan.
What materials do you use for arbors and pergolas?
Our arbors and pergolas are built in wood, steel or aluminum, and can be designed as an extension of your home or as a stand-alone structure. They provide just the right amount of shade for North Texas summers and pair naturally with outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and seating areas. Your designer will help you choose the material and scale that suit your home's architecture.
What can a Blooming Colors outdoor kitchen include?
An outdoor kitchen can go well beyond a grill. We can add outdoor refrigerators, mini fridges, sinks, bars and counter seating, and pair the kitchen with a pergola or covered structure, an outdoor fireplace or fire pit, and landscape lighting. Each kitchen is custom designed for how you cook and entertain, so it works as a true extension of your home.
Can my pool, outdoor living area and landscape be designed together?
Yes, and planning them together usually gives the best result. Our design team lays out your custom Desjoyaux concrete pool, patio, outdoor kitchen, pergola, fireplace, lighting and surrounding plantings as one connected space, then our own installation teams build it. Because the plants come from our Grapevine nursery, the garden is chosen to suit the hardscape, the sun and shade, and North Texas conditions.
What warranties cover pools and hardscape?
Our custom Desjoyaux concrete pools carry a 10-year warranty. All labor is warranted for 1 year from the project completion date. Pavers and retaining wall blocks, irrigation controllers and valves, low-voltage lighting systems and synthetic turf carry 1-year manufacturer warranties, and installed trees and shrubs carry a 1-year plant warranty. Your designer will review the warranty details for your specific project.
